I only collect what a feature actually needs:

• Email address: when you subscribe to the newsletter, so I can send you new recipes.
• Name and comment: when you leave a rating or review on a recipe. Your name is shown publicly with the comment.
• Phone number:only if you use “Text Me This Recipe.” It is used once to send that recipe link and is not sold or used for marketing.
• Order & catering details: name, contact info, and delivery/pickup details you provide when you place a shop or catering order, so I can fulfill it.
• Usage data: standard technical information (pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate location from IP) collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

This site uses cookies to keep it working and to show ads. Ads are served by Google AdSense and its partners.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

If you use “Text Me This Recipe” and give your mobile number, here is exactly how it is handled:

• We never sell or share it. Your mobile number and your SMS opt-in are never shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
• Message frequency: we only text you when you request a recipe, one message per request. There are no recurring, promotional, or marketing texts.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Some links on the site (especially on the My Kitchen page) are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps keep the recipes free.

To send the newsletter and recipe texts you request, publish your reviews, fulfill orders and catering requests, keep the site running securely, and show advertising. I do not sell your personal information.

Only the service providers that make the site work: Google (advertising and analytics), Vercel (hosting), Twilio (recipe texts), Resend (email), Stripe/Venmo (payments), and Printful (merch fulfillment). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, delete your own recipe comments, and control cookies through your browser settings. To ask what data I hold about you or to have it deleted, email chef@goodeatsbysahil.com.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
